You may have noticed a shift in the industry’s E Liquids from 10-15 years ago, when vaping was becoming more popular. The most noticeable change is the choice. Previously, you could only choose from replaceable cartridges/pods or pen-style devices or other high PG liquids if you weren’t a high-tech vaping enthusiast.
E Liquids are the most popular type of vape liquid. There are millions of them on the market. There are many options available today, including nicotine salt and freebase, 10mls and shortfalls. The choice is vast, but it can be overwhelming for new vapers.
Different Types Of E-Liquid
Let’s begin with definitions. There are many different types of E Liquids to choose from, and each one is customized for vapers and kits. These are the three most popular collections of E Liquids: nic salts, shortfalls, and 10mls. You can find 10mls in many different ratios of Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin (VG), but that’s another story.
10ml
Let’s start with the most common type of e-liquid. The size of the 10ml bottle is what e-liquid refers to. 10ml bottles are smaller than most e-liquid bottles. They all contain nicotine. While 10mls can come in 0 mg strengths, 10mls are usually available in a variety of nicotine strengths. Usually, 10mls have nicotine strengths ranging from 3mg to 18mg.
Nic Salts
Although they are still relatively new in the vaping world, nicotine salts have been growing in popularity over the years. Nicotine salts are natural-forming nicotine found in tobacco leaves. These salts create stronger liquids with nicotine strengths up to 20mg and sometimes as high as 50mg. However, you won’t get the harshness you might expect from such high nicotine levels.
Shortfills
Another popular type of vape juice is the shortfall. These are large bottles of nicotine-free vape juice that have plenty of room for you to add your favourite nicotine shots. You’ll get more liquid but less nicotine.
What Does It Matter Which E-Liquid I Use?
The short answer to this question is yes. It doesn’t matter what e-liquid you choose, it will affect your entire vaping experience. There is no vaping without eliquid or iqos 3 duo. It’s important to experiment and research what your vaping experience should be.
You won’t get the best flavour, cloud density and throat hit if you choose the wrong e-liquid. You could also reduce your vape’s performance by choosing the wrong e-liquid. Different e-liquids can clog your device or make your coils burn faster.
VG Vs PG
These VG liquids are safe for food and can be found in the majority of vape juices. Higher levels of VG liquids 70/30 provide a more pleasant vaping experience. These are best for sub-ohm devices with higher wattages as they can evaporate thicker eliquids. Some brands offer higher VG 10mls. These are available in low 3mg or 6mg bottles. This gives sub-ohm vapers a ready-to-go premixed liquid.
These liquids have a lower VG and higher PG, so they are more suitable for lower-powered MTL devices. 50/50 vape juices make up the largest and most well-known collection of 10ml liquids. These liquids work well with MTL devices and are perfect for new vapers as they can handle high nicotine levels. MTL coils can also evaporate the thinner liquid. Low powered pod kits will not benefit from a shortfall or 70/30VG/PG liquid because of its thick texture.
